Japan Film Festival Los Angeles

This is the rebranding for the JFFLA — Japanese Film Festival LA. The goal is to fully celebrate Japanese culture. Besides experiencing the amazing featured movies, we want to expand the festival through food, music and traditional Japanese folklore.

I designed the venue to be a mix of modern and traditional Japanese architecture. I went for a futuristic anime-like venue that had traditional “tatami” components.
